For my first multimedia project we had the challenge of producing a video of a card game, using music that was available to the public domain.

I wrote the story concept, directed and produced and shot it.

#FREE2FEED

The prompt for this project was to create a PSA. I decided to feature the mission of “Freedges”, a community organizational effort sourced, stuffed, placed and managed by the communities they serve.

I wrote the script, developed a storyboard and shot list. I also created #Free2Feed to encourage sharing across social media in order to amplify the cause.

Wonderville

For this journalism short story, I chose Wonderville; a bar, music venue, and indie arcade in Bushwick, Brooklyn. Through perseverence and ingenuity, they were able to build community and keep their bar open, despite opening right before the pandemic.

In addition to identifying the story, I conducted and filmed the interview, shot cutaways, edited and sound mixed.
